Human Rights
All Disability Plan Management has a significant role to play in assisting individuals and families to utilise their funding from the NDIS by assisting with their financial management. Being proactive about inclusion will maximise opportunities to assist individuals, families and their children to participate in the community according to their individual and cultural needs and preferences. Like all adults and children, those with disabilities have rights and should be supported to exercise these rights so that they can enjoy conditions of everyday life similar to others in the community.
Policy Statement
Every person receives a service that promotes and respects their legal and human rights and enables them to exercise choice like everyone else in the community.
All Disability Plan Management:
- will ensure that information about All Disability Plan Management service is available to
current and prospective service users, referral and partner agencies and the community
- will ensure all relevant staff have an up to date Working with Children clearance and if
applicable a Workers Screening Check, relevant qualifications and current registrations.
- will ensure the safety and physical protection of clients through the implementation of Work
Health and Safety procedures to minimise or remove the risk of harm while interacting with ADPM. Risk management strategies may include Workplace inspections, Hazard Identification Reports, Risk assessments, Safe work method statements, Standard operating procedures and Mandatory Incident reporting.
- will ensure clients are empowered and supported to make decisions for themselves about accessing the All Disability Plan Management service.
- will support the use of advocacy services by providing information about agencies that may
be able to provide wider support for the individual, family and child
- will only collect personal information that is needed and relevant to individual’s program.
- Individuals and Individual’s representatives will have access to this information with opportunities to update and confirm its accuracy
- will ensure that files containing personal information are stored and secured when not in use pursuant to the State Records Act and Regulation. Access to information stored
- electronically is protected with access restricted to relevant staff. Any non-essential
disclosures that could identify a child are destroyed as per the Local Governments Records Policy
- will respectfully share information across departments within the organisation to enhance the service provided by All Disability Plan Management.
- will provide resources to ensure that settings are adapted as required to enable people with disabilities to access them and participate to their full capacity

All Disability Plan Management aim to provide individuals with disabilities support by ensuring compatible relationships with providers are maintained contributing to a meaningful life like people of similar age, gender and culture.
Policy Statement
All Disability Plan Management develops connections with Service providers and the
community to promote opportunities for active and meaningful participation.
All Disability Plan Management:
- acknowledges that participation and inclusion of the service user is a human right supported by valuing the status of all adults and carers and children and their families and their role in the community.
- is committed to supporting individuals and families to identify and access funding for which they may be eligible.
- will support families and carers to join in mainstream community activities
according to the strengths, needs, and interests of the individual identified in their individual plans
- recognises the benefits to both the individual and the community when professionals work together to improve outcomes for people with a disability. All Disability Plan Management will collaborate with services and settings in the community to support the inclusion and participation of a child or adult with a disability. This may be achieved through sharing specific information and skills through consultation and/or the provision of resources.
- will gather feedback from people with a disability, their family and carers to understand their needs in accessing and participating in the community. This information is made available to forums to assist in local planning and processes to increase the access of people with a disability in and around community facilities.
